February 17, 2013: In an interview prior to the 2013 All-Star game, the "Mentor” -Michael Jordan - offered his blueprint for defending Lebron James: “I study him. When LeBron goes right, he usually drives; when he goes left, he usually shoots a jumper. It has to do with his mechanics and how he loads the ball for release. So, if I have to guard him, I’m gonna push him left 9 out 10 times. If he goes right he’s going to the hole and I can’t stop him. So, I ain’t letting him go right.” Hours later, the "Protege” - Kobe Bryant - took notice, and in a mano a mano challenge, delivered nothing short of a defensive masterclass. Kobe Bryant btw, was 34-years old. LeBron James Kobe Bryant

The only time in NBA history that 3 guys celebrated like they'd won the championship, even though they hadn't won the championship, and then proceeded to still not win the championship. You can live for another 1000 years, and still never see another tone-deaf spectacle like this again.
