Over time, people stop processing information to understand and start processing it to belong. So when you see major outlets treat allegations against the left as unworthy of attention and treat curiosity as the offense, focus on the pattern, not the single story. Ask who gets investigation, and who gets “nothing to see here.” That’s the tell. Once a public learns to self-censor its own curiosity, the job is mostly done.
