Neema Lugangira

Having served as a Member of Parliament (2020–2025), a Member of the Multi-Stakeholder Advisory Group to the United Nations Secretary General on Internet Governance #MAG (2022-2024), and as the Founder & Chair of the African Parliamentary Network on Internet Governance #APNIG, I call for the urgent and FULL restoration of internet access for all in #Tanzania. The internet is not just a communication tool; it is a lifeline for work, education, health, business, services and daily life. I therefore refer back to my plea of 28/9/2023 made whilst serving as an MP at the Forum on Internet Freedom in Africa 2023 that took place in #Tanzania.
