South African Sports Minister, Gayton, is calling on SA government to enlist unemployed youth and deploy them to the DRC to, in his words, "teach M23 a lesson." He claims he will be the first to volunteer. This comes after Gayton met with President Tshisekedi's envoy to South Africa, who pledged DRC's support for South Africa's bid to host Formula 1, in competition with Rwanda. The DRC has been lobbying other nations on South Africa's behalf.
