Elon Musk’s company, Neuralink has just received FDA approval to start testing brain chip implants in humans! This is important because Neuralink is working on helping blind people see and solving many types of neurological disorders, like depression, dementia, seizures, strokes, and eventually helping paralyzed people walk. You may have seen a couple years ago they implanted two chips in a monkey to play a video game with just its mind- that same concept will now be tested in paralyzed patients so they can do daily tasks on a computer without needing their limbs. Neuralink is a small (~300 employees), but mighty company, with grand ambitions. The company was started in 2016 by Elon Musk and several others. This major milestone of getting FDA approval is a huge step in bringing this amazing technology to those who need it most. We focus on news and updates related to Neuralink. This is a fantastic, inspiring message from Neuralink's 5th participant, RJ Tanner. RJ became paralyzed from the neck down after a motorcycle crash in 2021. In April earlier this year, he became Miller Medicine's first patient implanted with a Neuralink.

Latest Neuralink news: "Neuralink which has now helped five (5!) patients restore capability using the telepathy implants where they're able to control a computer simply by thinking. We'll be doing our first patient to restore sight with our Blindsight implant, which the end of this year, early next. In fact, that first patient might be in UAE since we have a relationship with UAE and the Cleveland Clinic."
