A new connectivity corridor is set to transform mobility across Delhi. The Union Cabinet has approved an 8.1 km long corridor linking Dwarka Expressway with Nelson Mandela Marg, Vasant Kunj. NHAI has established a Gaushala named “Gokuldham,” near Tunnel No. 4 at Malyawar on the Kiratpur–Manali corridor in #HimachalPradesh. Under this initiative, stray cattle found roaming along the four-lane National Highway will be rescued and sheltered at the facility, helping reduce road accidents involving animals. The Gaushala can accommodate around 100 cattle at a time, with proper arrangements for their food and care. A veterinary doctor has also been provided to ensure timely treatment of cattle injured in road accidents.
