10 years ago today on 26th March a whole decade ago I had my brain injury to Chris Eubank Jr. This was when my whole life changed forever and I was forced to retire from boxing and my mental health hit rock bottom. Today is not a good day 😔 Im struggling with my brain recovery I had a bad nights sleep as of pains and had to wear my leg brace. I had an accident with my bladder incontinence which gets me down. When I dont sleep it effects my emotions and makes me snappy which I cant help as my brains been so damaged. This then effects my speech. Ill be having a sleep at Lunchtime as my brain will slow down. I like to show the good and bad days of my recovery and keep things real life to help others.... #braininjury #mentalhealth #boxing

Back in the ring with Joe Calzaghe🙌 Spent time with Joe Calzaghe at Calzaghe Academy. I got back in the ring with Joe this was a dream come true for me and done some pads. Joe was helping me do some Physio on my weaker left side and experience being "Safely" back in the ring with my brain injury. My whole life changed in blink of an eye‼️ Brain Injurys changed my whole life I became a new version of me and it was tough. Never Walk, Never Talk. Never Eat were the words told many a time and id be in a wheelchair the rest of my life..My Skull was put in my stomach to live... I died and came back..My left side was paralysed....My whole life changed I had to start from scratch and learn every life skill again.... Never lose hope and never give up the fight as better days are coming but its not easy, got to dig deep ... I'm living proof it can be done 💙 My fight is still going., I get good and bad days .... The shock yesterday was too much.. Ricky Hatton sadly passed away 💔 I cannot believe this im devastated this is so sad im in shock such a legend of the sport. NEW WBC BELT on its way to me..... My WBC Belt got ruined in a gym that had it when I was in my coma and had my brain injurys and I didn't even know it was there as of my memoryloss. I found out and it got returned to me in terrible state and it really upset me as thats all I have now. Monday Motovation 🫶 Weve made a Comeback‼️ Michael Watson and I have been through hell and back. They said we wouldnt make it when we both had traumatic brain injurys from Boxing. We had to learn to walk, talk and eat again spending months in comas and years in rehabilitation we nearly didnt make it.... But the fighters in us gave us strength to never give uo and defy the odds. Were walking miracles who share the same story brothers for life... We may have lots of hidden disabilities and daily struggles but were here for a purpose. To show others no matter how hard life gets you must fight on and dig deep.... We have made a comeback in life and thats the hardest fight... To see us both standing and using boxing moves as part of our physiotherapy is beyond belief when we were both paralysed in hospital..... Drs have refered me for CT Head and Brain Scan after my appointment today..... We have noticed lately that there has become a ridge like step where my skull scar is ( this is where my skull was removed put in my stomach then put back in after the brain had healed) We don't think was there before so I have to have CT Scan to make sure all OK 🙏 Keeping you all posted on my recovery and my traumatic brain Injury journey....
