Struggling with my brain recovery this is what you dont see and how much the evenings effect me. Brain function slows down, speech slows down, throbbing and painful legs and foot, extreme tiredness. I wont be going to the Tyson Fury V Anthony Joshua Fight because i cant physically do it with my disabilities, leg pains and Brain function especially that late at night in a big stadium be too much for my head and body 😔 I cant alway share the good days..... 10 years ago today on 26th March a whole decade ago I had my brain injury to Chris Eubank Jr. This was when my whole life changed forever and I was forced to retire from boxing and my mental health hit rock bottom. Back in the ring with Joe Calzaghe🙌 Spent time with Joe Calzaghe at Calzaghe Academy. I got back in the ring with Joe this was a dream come true for me and done some pads. Joe was helping me do some Physio on my weaker left side and experience being "Safely" back in the ring with my brain injury. Today is not a good day 😔 Im struggling with my brain recovery I had a bad nights sleep as of pains and had to wear my leg brace. I had an accident with my bladder incontinence which gets me down. When I dont sleep it effects my emotions and makes me snappy which I cant help as my brains been so damaged. This then effects my speech. Ill be having a sleep at Lunchtime as my brain will slow down. I like to show the good and bad days of my recovery and keep things real life to help others.... #braininjury #mentalhealth #boxing

My whole life changed in blink of an eye‼️ Brain Injurys changed my whole life I became a new version of me and it was tough. Never Walk, Never Talk. Never Eat were the words told many a time and id be in a wheelchair the rest of my life..My Skull was put in my stomach to live... I died and came back..My left side was paralysed....My whole life changed I had to start from scratch and learn every life skill again.... Never lose hope and never give up the fight as better days are coming but its not easy, got to dig deep ... I'm living proof it can be done 💙 My fight is still going., I get good and bad days .... He's never going to make it " he won't walk talk or eat again , he has 75% chance of not making it and being in a wheelchair" "He's lucky to be alive" My skull was put in my tummy to live, I had Operations on my legs as I couldn't walk, pneumonia 3 times. Boxing never left me I used it as physio even when some days my brain wouldnt function. BOXING WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY HEART 💙 I'm now raising awareness for brain injury survivors and people having dark days with mental health.
