Just released img2interior v2.2 — a new open-source plugin for the img2 ecosystem! Turn a single reference image or your imagination into a fully editable 3D interior using Three.js. It's free: If you find it useful, a ⭐ on GitHub would mean a lot! Anyone interested in trying it out?

img2threejs 1.5.1 is out 🚀 Checkout: This release introduces a new approach to image → 3D → Three.js. Image → Tripo → img2threejs → reconstructed geometry → Three.js Instead of using the generated 3D model as the final asset, img2threejs uses it as a reference to rebuild the character into a representation that can be generated and rendered directly in Three.js. No Blender workflow, and no GLB required as the final output. The animation in the demo is still a bit rough because this release is focused on reconstruction, not animation. I’ll be improving that in the next release. Still experimental, but this is a big step toward where I want img2threejs to go.

img2threejs - v1.4 is officially released 🚀 This release is all about reconstruction quality. ✨ What’s new: 1. Real internal structures instead of hollow shells 2. More accurate colors & PBR materials 3. Fine-grained parts for complex animations 4. Better volumetric reconstruction (not simple extrusions) 5 Measurement-driven geometry for more faithful proportions 👉 Showcase: Glock-18 | Ghost Protocol ( The reference images for this showcase were taken from ) - 2 reference images - 1 prompt 🤪 - ~250K tokens 🔗 OpenSource: 🎮 Live demo: #img2threejs #threejs #3DGeneration #AISource #tradeit

Turn a single 2D image into a fully interactive, animated 3D character - running directly in your browser.🥊 This is the Ringside Boxer, built with img2threejs v1.5.1. Live showcase: 2D Image → 3D Reconstruction (TripoAI/Hyper3D) → Reference GLB + Specs → Rig & Animation Setup → Animation Loops → Physics VFX → Playable Three.js Scene ( 100% pure typescript ) 🔥 Under the hood: • ~97.5K triangle 3D reconstruction • 41-bone character rig • 19 combat animation clips • Jab, Hook, Body Shot, Footwork, Victory, Defeat & more • Physics-based sweat particles with gravity • Impact shock-ring VFX • Fully interactive 360° orbit + zoom And the important part: 1. The final result is generated as pure Three.js + TypeScript code. 2. No traditional 3D authoring workflow. 3. No Blender setup. 4. Just code that can be inspected, modified, and dropped directly into a WebGL experience. This is where I want img2threejs to go: Image → 3D → Animation → Interactive Web Experience. And this is only v1.5.1. 🚀 #ThreeJS #GameDev #TypeScript #Web3D #img2threejs

One completely still photograph. Nothing moved - Nothing breathed. It is now a fully alive, fully controllable 3D character written entirely in pure Three.js code - complete geometry, full skeleton, full animations, and every part editable. Built with the img2threejs skill: No Blender. No GLB. No black-box mesh. Just native code you can own, modify, and ship.I spent a full day on this character. Does this result feel more satisfying to you? Showcase:

I turned Raz from Arena of Valor into an animated 3D character running directly in Three.js. 🔥🥊 This is my latest showcase for img2threejs v1.5.2 - and the new version is officially out. Image → TripoAI or Hyper3D → Rigging → Animation → VFX → Three.js. For this demo, I wanted to push beyond simply reconstructing a character. Raz needed to actually FEEL like Raz: explosive punches, fast movement, combat animation, and the fiery VFX around his attacks. The entire workflow was built through the img2threejs pipeline, turning visual references into a character that can be controlled, animated, and extended directly in code. And the best part: img2threejs v1.5.2 is available now. You can try the same pipeline yourself and see how far you can push AI-assisted 3D character creation for Three.js and WebGL. Open source. Built for experimentation. GitHub 👇 #ThreeJS #img2threejs #AI3D #ArenaOfValor

🔥 img2threejs × GPT-6 Astra × Hyper3D Live showcase: This is probably one of the most commercially valuable workflows I’ve tested so far. Image → Hyper3D → img2threejs → GPT-6 Astra → Interactive Three.js experience. 1/ Hyper3D handles the 3D reconstruction. 2/ img2threejs turns that result into a structured workflow that an AI coding model can actually work with. 3/ And GPT-6 Astra follows the img2threejs pipeline - turning the reconstructed asset into a structured, editable, and interactive Three.js experience with animation, VFX, lighting, and application logic. The important part isn’t just generating a 3D model, It’s what happens after the model exists. Instead of ending with a static asset, you can continue building around it with code: → Games → Interactive product experiences → 3D websites → Character showcases → Virtual worlds → Rapid prototypes 3D generation becomes the beginning of the workflow - not the final output. And when you combine high-quality reconstruction with an AI model capable of understanding and building the surrounding experience, the path from image → 3D → usable product becomes dramatically shorter. This is exactly the direction I want to push img2threejs. More experiments with OpenAI GPT-6 Astra × Hyper3D by Deemos are coming this month. 👨🍳

A single 2D image → a 110,745-triangle 3D monster with 27 animations, running live in the browser. This is the Abyss Monster, built with img2threejs: The workflow: Image → 3D Reconstruction → Reference GLB + Specs → Rig → Animation Loops → VFX → Interactive Three.js 🔥 Inside this demo: 1/ 110,745 triangles reconstructed from the reference image 2/ 27 animation clips - Spin Flurry, Leap & Stomp, Charge, Collapse & more 3/ Reference-driven rig & animation workflow 4/ Dynamic lighting 5/ Real-time floating ember VFX 6/ Interactive WebGL character What I find most interesting is the workflow itself. The character and scene are built through a multi-prompt workflow, using visual references, GLB specs and animation loops to progressively construct the Three.js experience. Then, for the VFX, I used a single focused prompt to create the floating ember effect and integrate it into the scene. The final result is Three.js + TypeScript code - turning a visual reference into a programmable, interactive web experience. I’ll share the VFX prompt in the comments. 👇 #ThreeJS #WebGL #GameDev #TypeScript #Web3D #img2threejs

I’ve wanted to build this for a while. Lee Sin was my favorite champion back in middle school. 😂 So when I started pushing img2threejs 1.5.1 beyond just generating 3D models, he was the obvious choice. Image → 3D → Animation → VFX → Three.js. This is what 1.5.1 can do now. Opensource: And I’m already working on 1.5.2, a much cleaner pipeline for creating animations and VFX like this without all the manual work. Kind of cool that the champion I loved as a kid is now helping me build my tools.
