CNN's liberal "journalists" get butt hurt over guntuber and GOP congressional nominee Brandon Herrera (Brandon Herrera) making jokes about fat, blue-haired feminists. In a possibly defamatory statement, they suggest that Herrera fits the patterns of someone who will become a domestic terrorist: "When looking back at folks who commit political violence and extremism, if you look at their search history on the internet, it's often because they've been consuming a lot of misogynistic online content, whether that be on YouTube, podcasts, or social media. There's often that connective through line."

ABC News's "bona fide news program" The View pushes the conspiracy theory Trump is having an affair with his assistant Natalie Harp. They would find it suspicious if his assistant would accompany him to the convention this week: SUNNY HOSTIN: I was reading in The Washington Post and I was shocked. It reported that Trump gave sizable holiday gifts to four White House aides including a woman named Natalie Harp. And he gave her $45,000 and that actually was -- ALYSSA FARAH GRIFFIN: That's a very nice bonus, Brian. \ HOSTIN: That was a very nice bonus. When I worked for the government I'm sure the same thing for you, Alyssa. I think you could only accept $50 gifts. FARAH GRIFFIN: $50 or $25 gifts. HOSTIN: $50 or $25 gifts. FARAH GRIFFIN: And you had to disclose it. HOSTIN: Now, who is Natalie Harp? She's his executive assistant -- WHOOPI GOLDBERG: I brought her up ages ago. HOSTIN: You sure did Whoopi. GOLDBERG: I sure did. HOSTIN: So, I started digging in not to be messy, but she is the executive assistant to Trump. She's known - She's called "The Printer." Because -- JOY BEHAR: The human printer. HOSTIN: She carries a portable printer around so she can print out favorable media coverage to him and social media posts for the President. Her brother said that she has an unhealthy obsession with him. She wrote letters to him that the Washington Trump says -- she wrote, 'you are all that matters to me. I don't want to ever let you down.' SARA HAINES: I said that to my boyfriend. HOSTIN: She called Trump her guardian and protector in this life. BEHAR: Melania doesn't even say that. HOSTIN: Yeah! Like, given all that, like, is she going to be at this convention? I'm like [shocked face]. Forty five grand?!

Some of what The View had to say about Charlie Kirk's assassination: ALYSSA FARAH GRIFFIN: I hope it doesn't have a chilling effect whether you're left or right on your ability to speak your mind. I know the one thing we all agree about on this table, we all share our viewpoints, and we should be able to do that without fear. JOY BEHAR: Well, that's our bread and butter here. So, of course, it's very important. I agree with everything you say. SARA HAINES: Well also, we don't all align with his views, what I deeply aligned with is he said, 'when we stop talking, that's when things get bad.' The irony of a man who would go across the country to college campuses is where you're supposed to have conversations would go and his series was called "Prove me wrong." He would talk to people openly who disagreed. It's what we try to exemplify every day and say this is what we need more of.

Ta-Nehisi Coates suggests he's not above taking part in an October 7-style attack: "And I grow up under that oppression and that poverty and the wall comes down. Am I also strong enough or even constructed in such a way where I say this is too far, I don't know that I am."

Whoopi Goldberg admits Disney and ABC News's The View is platform to promote Democrat talking points: STEPHEN A. SMITH: [Y]ou're talking about what he's doing. But before you brought that up you brought up the message that the Democratic Party was disseminating. I'm challenging you on that. That is not what they were doing. WHOOPI: Oh, yes, it was. I was here. We did it.

The View is SHOCKED to learn from guest co-host Sara Eisen (an actual financial expert) that the markets are actually doing good and actually like Trump as president: GOLDBERG: Later after we do what we're supposed to do I do want to ask you about the market. EISEN: Please. GOLDBER: Because it seems that the market doesn't really pay attention to who is president. The market does what it does. EISEN: Actually the market likes who's president, I think. GOLBERG: Really? HOSTIN: Oh, interesting. EISEN: There's a lot of upbeat sentiment from companies. GOLDBERG: Ah. EISEN: And from investors about policies that are helpful for growth. You know, deregulation. HOSTIN: Do you think the tariffs are helpful for growth? EISEN: The tariffs usually wouldn't be helpful for growth but they're not as bad as everybody expected. HOSTIN: But they're not good. BEHAR: It helps for rich people. It doesn't help poor people or middle income people. EISEN: Fair. But, you know, when the tariffs were announced everyone thought it would be massive inflation and the market would fall apart and the economy and it hasn't. BEHAR: Not yet. EISEN: Some companies have absorbed it. You know what? They've never been more profitable right now, but they also like the tax bill.

Sunny Hostin attacks South Carolina for Darline Graham being their first female senator, and says there's something "fundamentally wrong" with the state. She suggests doctors can't be senators. She and Joy Behar call the appointment "the very definition of a DEI [hire]" and an example of how "our government is fundamentally broken": SUNNY HOSTIN: I don't love it. I don't love it. You know, she'll be the first woman to be a U.S. senator in South Carolina in his the history of the state. And I think that that's just -- it's just fundamentally wrong that South Carolina just couldn't elect a woman and this is the only way that it was done. I think the experience does matter. And while she is a certified optician and while she has done great work in that field, I don't think that she should be representing the people of South Carolina in the U.S. Senate. I just don't. JOY BEHAR: It's this the very definition of a DEI? SUNNY HOSTIN: Correct! correct! It's everything that the Republican Party stands against! Everything! Everything! [Applause] It's DEI. Nepotism. All these things thrown in together. And, you know, at this very same time Pete Hegseth blocked more promotions for women in particular for women of color to become admirals. And so this is happening. I feel like our government is fundamentally broken and I just -- I disagree -- I disagree with this. BEHAR: I agree with you. It's not like taking over your mother's job at McDonald's. HOSTIN: Yeah, it's not. BEHAR: You're running -- HOSTIN: It's the U.S. Senate. BEHAR: You're in government. You have to know what you're doing. ALYSSA FARAH GRIFFIN: You guys are putting too much stock in who's currently in Congress. WHOOPI GOLDBERG: Yeah, you got a point.

Jake Tapper whines that Trump called out Democrats as "crazy" during his State of the Union address. "Well here's my question. Are we ever going back to normal? I mean, are we ever coming to a back to a place where you can't just call the other party crazy in the State of the Union address?"
