Going back to the Colts ... I think the illegal shift penalty was legit.🫣 Illegal shift = multiple offensive players fail to come to a stop for a full second before the snap. And you can see the WRs moving within a second of the snap. The 2nd penalty — holding by Dyami — seemed ticky-tack, but it was also irrelevant at that point.

This is the play in which Jayden Daniels appeared to come up hobbling a bit. I don’t know how this wasn’t ruled a hip-drop tackle in game. Checks all the boxes: ✅ Wraps Daniels with both arms ✅ Unweights by swiveling/dropping hips ✅ Lands on Daniels’s leg(s)

It seems this is the moment Javon Kinlaw was talking about when he said after the Commanders’ loss to the Lions that Amon-Ra St. Brown punched Daron Payne first. Payne, who was suspended 1 game for later punching St. Brown, posted this on his IG.

Dan Quinn stayed on the field and watched as players/gathers shook hands after the game. I asked why. He said, "I know how quickly we’re going to play again, so I just wanted to make sure that if I had to step in that I’d be able to bring my bouncing skills back."

Dan Quinn addressed the narrative about players appearing to leave the field without any regard to Jayden Daniels' injury. "It's just the opposite — they were gutted. They love the guy."
