Hypocrisy at it’s finest!!!! While IF Metall 🇸🇪 and Seko are now furiously investigating Tesla for allegedly pulling unauthorized 400-meter cables to bypass their blockade at Arlanda Superchargers (creating their own grid with megapack), let’s talk about some real electricity theft hypocrisy closer to home. Thanks to Johan for digging into this! For almost two years, IF Metall’s own protest barracks in Umeå have been running without any building permit and they’ve been stealing power straight from Umeå municipality’s grid. No permission, no agreement, just free juice to keep their picket signs lit and coffee machines humming. Tesla is dragged through the mud for trying to keep chargers online during your endless sympathy blockades, but when it’s IF Metall’s turn to bend (or break) the rules on electricity and permits? Crickets. This is peak Swedish union logic in 2026: rules for thee, but not for me. If you’re going to moralize about “respecting the Swedish model” and “not creating own networks”, maybe start by paying your own damn electric bill and getting a building permit for that eyesore shack.
