Without Russia's promotion of Farage, Brexit would not have happened. On September 16, 2014, Farage and Nathan Gill made speeches to the European Parliament parroting several of the same Russian propaganda lies. They both called Ukraine "The Ukraine," a term which refers back to the old Slavic word for borderland, which Russia uses to deny Ukraine's nationhood. They both used the expression "poking the Russian bear." They both parroted the Russian lie that there had been a coup in Kyiv in 2014. They both parroted Russian lies about NATO and EU expansion. They both repeated the Russian claim that the real threat was Muslim extremism, a claim that Putin had very effectively used to distract Western leaders from Russian aggression and its hybrid war against the West. Reform UK initially claimed Farage barely knew Gill. That turned out to be a blatant lie. And a reminder that before the BBC picked up the baton, Farage was propelled to prominence by Russian TV. The Kremlin clearly thought Farage would be useful to Russia. He has doubtless more than exceeded their hopes.

Reform UK has been desperately trying distance Farage from traitor Nathan Gill. But here is Conor Gogarty reading Farage's own quotes about bribe-taker Gill back to him: "I have worked closely with Nathan Gill as leader of Ukip Wales. The news media are ranting on and on about Starmer - Mandelson - Epstein, but they are almost entirely silent about Farage - Bannon- Epstein. And let's not forget that Farage said Epstein was a good choice for ambassador. If Starmer has questions to answer regarding Epstein, then so does Farage, perhaps even more so because Farage was part of Bannon and Epstein's political project. It is curious how so much of the media talks-up Farage as a potential PM, but completely fails to subject him to the scrutiny appropriate for someone in that position. The British news media, with a few honourable exceptions, is the greatest threat to our democracy.

Here is Farage thanking Steve Bannon for his help in the Brexit referendum, and deferentially listening to Bannon's proposals for further political action. Bannon was still in close touch with Jeffrey Epstein in 2018, long after the latter's first conviction. In 2018 Bannon had an 8 hour meeting with Russian Nazi philosopher Alexander Dugin. Dugin has called for the genocide of the Ukrainian people, and called Africans the bestial race, "non-humans", dumb and brainless. Bannon has said you should be proud to be accused of being a racist. Several of Bannon's staffers are now in the White House. Brexit was inflicted on the UK, not just through Russian interference, but through the interference of American fascists.

Brexit was won by the worst abuses of democracy in modern British history. Here is one of them. The "Will of the People" was used to suppress democracy after the Brexit Referendum. Lord Sumption giving the Reith Lectures addressed the Brexiters' claim that Brexit is the will of the people. He said - "This is the authentic language of totalitarianism. It is the lowest point to which a political community can sink short of actual violence." This is not about percentages. It doesn't matter what percentage voted for Brexit. It is about a referendum being used to attack the fundamental democratic right to oppose, and to promote the totalitarian division of society into the people and its enemies, the subversives and saboteurs. In the period following the referendum the so-called "Will of the People" was used to create a climate of intimidation that silenced almost all political & media opponents of Brexit. During that period Britain was not functioning as a democracy, and we are still living with its effects, pro-European politicians are still cowed by the Brexit "Will of the People". In a democracy there is government and opposition, majority and minority, competing parties and dissenting voices. There is no totalitarian unity of the "Will of the People" which makes all opponents into the enemies of the people. Where the right to oppose ends, democracy dies, and that is exactly exactly why dictators like Hitler loved referendums.

Finally, a reminder that Farage was heavily promoted by Russian TV before the BBC took up that role. A vote for Reform UK is a vote for Putin.

Only a two percent difference in the referendum vote would have stopped Brexit. Brexit was inflicted on the UK by foreigners and their treasonous tools, venal lackeys and useful idiots.
