BREAKING: Senate disowns Mele Kyari arrest warrant and rebukes Senator Oshiomhole for describing NNPC as a 'bunch of criminals and thieves' during yesterday's Public Accounts committee's hearing. Responding, Senator Oshiomhole, who refused to backtrack, reiterated his call for the investigation of Mele Kyari. He also clarified that his 'thieves' comment was due to provocation sponsored by Kyari's refusal to attend the committee’s hearing despite being invited nine times.

BREAKING: Yakubu Danladi-Salihu, Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, has emerged as the Kwara State APC governorship candidate after polling over 94,000 votes, defeating Ambassador Abdulfatai Yahya-Seriki, who polled 41,700 votes, and former APC Chairman Bashir Bolarinwa, who came third with 22,118 votes. The result was announced today by Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the Kwara APC governorship primary election.

BREAKING: Former President Goodluck Jonathan has been officially announced as the presidential candidate of the Makinde-backed Turaki PDP faction. Jonathan was, however, absent at the affirmation ceremony and has not publicly declared interest in running for the presidency in 2027. The certificate of return was, however, given to Fred Agbedi, a sitting member of the House of Representatives from Bayelsa State, to hold in custody, pending Jonathan’s decision on whether to contest the presidency.
