This weekend, I spoke at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest in Phoenix, Arizona 🇺🇸. I encouraged young scientists to enter the field, not give up, study hard, and think independently. There is no longer a mindset of “we are the science” imposed by an authoritarian group at the NIH. Academic freedom leads the way to gold-standard science. 🔬An international research team catalogued 25 tumor types from thousands of patient donors as part of a long-term NIH-funded cancer study. This is a major win for cancer research since previous collections only captured a fraction of cancer’s biological diversity.
