I’ve uncovered more than £1 million of your money going from the Ministry of Justice straight to pro-immigration charities. Charities that campaign against border controls and help illegal immigrants stay in Britain. This must stop. The Ministry of Justice exists to serve the British people, not to act as a cash machine for left-wing lawyers.

Every Wednesday, this entitled and selfish bore makes it impossible to work in nearby offices. He ruins the experience of thousands of visitors and tourists. And the police and courts let him. His supposed right to protest comes above the interests of everyone else. This is the problem with human rights laws - summed up in one very sad man.

Too many are too polite to say this. But mass ritual prayer in public places is an act of domination. The adhan - which declares there is no god but allah and Muhammad is his messenger - is, when called in a public place, a declaration of domination. Perform these rituals in mosques if you wish. But they are not welcome in our public places and shared institutions. And given their explicit repudiation of Christianity they certainly do not belong in our churches and cathedrals. I am not suggesting everybody at Trafalgar Square last night is an Islamist. But the domination of public places is straight from the Islamist playbook. Trafalgar Square belongs to all of us. It is a national memorial to our independence and our salvation. Last night was not like a televised football match or a St Patrick’s Day celebration. It was an act of domination and therefore division. It shouldn’t happen again.

Today Bridget Phillipson called me a racist for what I said about mass Muslim prayer on Trafalgar Square. But religious belief and racial identity are different things. That's what's wrong with the "Islamophobia" definition. It's already being used to shut down free speech.

What was left of the credibility of West Midlands Police has been destroyed today. We learned earlier that their initial reason for banning Israelis from Villa Park was the danger *to* away fans *from* armed” locals. But to justify the ban they portrayed the Israelis as “uniquely violent” and military-trained. They used “intelligence” supposedly from Dutch police that has been utterly repudiated - by the Dutch police and other authorities. And when the Home Affairs Select Committee asked why the vital information about the danger *to* Israelis was kept secret, the Chief Constable ludicrously said it was because he had not been asked for it. In other words: “We won’t tell you the truth because you didn’t ask a specific question about a thing you didn’t know because we hadn’t told you.” Yes. That was his defence. He is too arrogant to resign. The Home Secretary has the power to remove him under s40 of the Police Act 1996. She should use it.

Meet Imam Yasin Munye of the Hackney Islamic Community Centre, who can be seen here telling listeners to discipline their wives “by lightly hitting them to show who is in charge”. The Mail investigation revealed shocking evidence of imams endorsing physical violence against women for “disobedience” or refusing sex. David Lammy wants to let rapists and paedophiles out of prison early. Andy Burnham says he disagrees. And tonight Labour couldn’t get their MPs to vote against us. We just defeated the Government in a vote for the first time since the election. But ministers say they’ll ignore the will of Parliament and carry on regardless. And the clock is ticking. The early release scheme starts straight after the summer recess, on 2 September. If Burnham means what he says, he needs to set out the plan - now.
