Turkish T-129 gunships again spotted in Azerbaijan, taking off from Gala airbase near Baku to participate in the joint "Mustafa Kemal Ataturk" military drills. They were spotted back in August 2020, just before the Nagorno Karabakh war for similar drills.

BREAKING - #Azerbaijan and #Iran's IRGC hold joint military Araz-2025 drills in #NagornoKarabakh between 18 and 21 May, second year these are carried out (see retweet below), first time ever a country other than #Turkey carries out joint drills in the formerly ethnic-Armenian territory. Participating are special ground forces from Iran's IRGC and special forces from Azerbaijan's armed forces. Iranian IRGC forces entered Azerbaijan through the Bilesuvar border crossing and will head to an unspecified area of Nagorno Karabakh for the exercises. Sources: 1. 2.

A flight of what appears to be a recon UAV was carried out between 10:00 and 14:00 hours local time on 12 June in #Azerbaijan (hours prior to the #Israeli strike on #Iran). The flight seems to have taken off from Kurdamir Airbase, flown over to the Iranian border and back. Flight lasted at least four hours, possibly carried out by an Israeli-acquired IAI Heron, IAI Searcher or Hermes 450, which the Azeri military is known to operate.
