NMIXX’s Lily talks about live vocals and says she doesn’t like loud backtracks. When the live vocals are clear, she enjoys playing with vocals and adding more ad-libs. “If the backing vocals are too high compared to the live vocals, I really don't like it. We're singers, I want you guys to hear us. Even if I don't sing my best, I believe as an audience you guys deserve it live…The reason we are here as K-pop artists is because we're here to sing”

NMIXX’s Haewon in today’s livestream: “I honestly don’t know how we got to the point where we’re analyzing people’s faces down to the tiniest details. Given that I work in an industry so sensitive to trends, it’s hard for me not to notice, but honestly, it's really not something anyone should stress over. You are pretty, beautiful, and lovely just as you are, don’t pay attention to all this, this and this… like having a “straight” body type or “wavy” body type. Sure, it might be helpful to know for styling, but just wear what you want to wear. I understand if you want to pay attention to these things for graduation photos or when you’re going to be on camera, but don't stress about this stuff in your everyday life. It's exhausting.”

NMIXX’s Sullyoon shares a story that happened at the airport: “When we were crossing from Brazil to Chile, we had to go through immigration. Bae was standing in front, and I was right behind her. You know when family members travel they check them together? Since we weren’t family, we go one by one. Me and Bae were both wearing the same Adidas jerseys. Bae went first, but suddenly they called me too. When I asked ‘why?’ they just said I needed to come. They checked us both and let us through…I think they thought we came together because of our couple outfits.”

NMIXX’s Sullyoon talks about their upcoming title track “Birthday Wish” on today’s live: "To be honest, I love the song… As all our members kept saying on live streams... It is true that it's a difficult song to perform live. And performance-wise, it's quite breathless and hard, but I had a lot of fun… It's difficult, but ‘tiring/exhausting’ feels like a more fitting description for this song. When I first received it, I thought ‘I can do it’ but since I couldn't at first, I was like ‘Woah, what is this?’ But as I kept practicing, it worked out. So I felt a real sense of thrill from that, which made practicing really fun.“

Different girl Facing one another in the night, so our eyes can finally meet Our hearts pulled close, locked together like magnets So I fell in love... Different girl”
