Overall while I do like of Gears 5’s story I will say I really don’t like how they treated JD. In 4 he was a nice and overall caring guy who was willing to go through hell and comfort Kait while in 5 he’s kind of a bumbling asshole. I’m sorry but this really bothers me

Followed up by a really good emotional scene. I really just wish they cut the whole decision aspect out and have it so Del’s death was a complete shock for Kait and JD who up until that point were basically living for the most part peaceful lives away from war ever being a factor
