Japan 2016 Moving under braking connoisseur Max Verstappen defends like a terrorist, forcing Lewis Hamilton into evasive action and despite that clearly qualifying as a dangerous maneuver, Lewis was too lenient (as always with Max) and later tweeted: "There is no protest from myself. Just heard the team had but I told them it is not what we do. We are champions, we move on. End of!" Max got a first taste of just how much bullshit he could get away with as he was not penalized and instead just had the first of many Verstappen rules debut at the following race weekend.

The way Max sees Lewis and still turns in is crazy to me

Monaco 2015 Mercedes manage to rob Lewis Hamilton of a stellar victory by boxing him for no real reason causing him to lose out to his teammate and direct title rivals, turning a 20 second lead into a P3. Mercedes hadn't expected Lewis to catch the Safety Car as soon as he did, which cost him the crucial gap and saw him drop two places when exiting the pits. Lewis had been under the false impression that his rivals had already made the same stop for the softer tyres and therefore did not question the call. When asked if he would continue to have full confidence in his team's decisions, Lewis simply replied: "Yes." Nico Rosberg instead became the first driver since Ayrton Senna to take three consecutive wins in the principality.

Brazil 2016 In a must win race and with championship pressure ramping up, treacherous conditions and countless incidents are not nearly enough to stop Lewis Hamilton from dominating the field with a flawless drive to finally take a first victory on future home soil. Rainmaster.

No 10/10 car, no Safety Car, no lucky DNFs, just a 39 year old showing the world his unmatched skill once more, holding off three faster cars to win at home. In one single race: - Most wins at one circuit - First and only driver to win past 300 Grand Prix starts - Longest interval between first and final win - Most seasons with at least one race win - Oldest race winner of the 21st century - Most podiums at one circuit - Extended most career wins - Extended most career podiums - Extended most podiums with one team - Extended most wins with one team - Extended most consecutive podiums at one circuit "He is the man who raises the bar, who raises the stats, who takes things to stratospheric levels and he's only got three more corners now..." Anyone tell me how Lewis does not get framed as the GOAT?

Monaco 2019 After early pit stops, Mercedes incorrectly put Lewis Hamilton on the Medium tyre compound while his competitors go onto Hards. Pirelli stated the Mediums would only last 50 laps, but Lewis manages to hold off Verstappen and Vettel for 67 Laps as he takes one of his most special victories in honor of his good friend Niki Lauda. "Nobody else could've done that", James Vowles later told him on the team radio.

On the topic of 2008, Lewis Hamilton received an outrageous 25 (TWENTY FIVE!!!!) second penalty post-race for not correctly handing back the position to Raikkonen in Belgium here and therefore supposedly gaining an unjust advantage. Purposefully crashing into opposition gets you less btw. It dropped him two places and handed the win directly to Felipe Massa, which was a greater points swing than the infamous Singapore Grand Prix where Ferrari, not Renault, was really solely to blame for Massa's misfortunes. So don't ever use 2008 as a pathetic attempt at making 2021 look just. They are not comparable in the slightest.

Silverstone 2021 The Red Bull had looked almighty throughout the only practice session, but it was Lewis Hamilton who took the the first ever F1 Sprint Pole with a special lap in front of a returning home crowd. Also featuring a beauty of a lap by George Russell in the Williams

Turkey 2007 Long before he crowned himself the undisputed Greatest of All Time around Istanbul Park, Lewis Hamilton's first visit with Formula 1 saw him pull out a huge lap at the death to split the superior Ferraris and beat teammate Alonso, whom he had been trailing throughout all sessions up until that point. A puncture would cost him the chance to fight for the win on Sunday as he had to settle for fifth.

"That's all about letting them race" Interlagos 2021 After starting the Sprint in dead last and Sunday's race in P10, Lewis Hamilton had already made up 8 places as he took on his world championship rival, Max Verstappen, for the lead. After chipping away at his advantage Lap 48 saw the big move. Chasing the Red Bull down the Reta Oposta, he attempted to dance his black Mercedes around the outside at the Descida do Lago. Max defended with all his lack of finesse and, once again, sent both of them off track, keeping his position in the process. The political war between the garages erupted instantly, as both sides argued their case for or against a penalty. Red Bull's Jonathan Wheatley infamously claimed: "Michael, that's all about letting them race", while Mercedes argued he gained a lasting advantage by pushing Lewis off. Upon review, Max was let off without punishment by the stewards, not for the first time that season. When informed of the decision, Lewis Hamilton sarcastically exclaimed: "Of course, man". Martin Brundle ominously proclaimed that Max now knew that he could just do it again. The tension during the next laps was more than palpable. An unprecedented title fight was reaching its climax. In the end, quality prevailed as Lewis teed up his young rival through the Senna Esses, giving him no chance down the following straight and, under the roar of a São Paulo home crowd, Lewis took what he'd later call his "most special victory to date". Ironically it was the standard set by the FIA on that very day which would come back to bite Red Bull in the Abu Dhabi Finale.

"This is the Greatest Moment of my Life" Abu Dhabi 2014 Lewis Hamilton dominates the only double-points race in F1 history to claim his second world title. He flies off the line and eventually even laps a wounded Nico Rosberg to collect his 33rd career victory, a very illusive number for some 😉 He becomes the first Mercedes-Benz Champion in over 50 years and celebrates an iconic title in style. 👑🇬🇧
