Faceless Yoruba miscreant went to an Igbo gathering in Ikwerre land to confront his "ancestors". If he was Ikwerre, why didn't he speak Ikwerre dialect? If Yoruba are not put in their place in Port Harcourt, they won't know their village is so far away. That my village is part of Igbo Land doesn’t mean an Enugu person can claim it as his grandfather’s property. So does Ikwerre Land. The tag Ìgbò Land simply means “under the protection of Ìgbò people”—a sociopolitical alliance, not a surrender of ownership. Instead of disgracing yourself online for content sake, visit Eneka, the Mbata Family Compound opposite former Chinyere Clinic Junction, and ask Senator Azuta Mbata if Ikwerre land is part of Ìgbò Land.

An Igbo man made it clear that Igbos are not indigenous to Plateau State. He also highlighted that many Igbos are born in Plateau State and have contributed immensely to its development, so they can be called Plateau people, while stressing again that Igbos are not indigenous there. This vindicates the narrative Igbos have always told Nigerians: Igbos do not claim other people's lands, but they can associate with you, develop your land, and be one of you without claiming it. This contradicts the negative narrative from some people of Agbero Republic, who claim Igbos want to dominate and take over their land, which is false. A real Igbo man will never claim your land; he will only love it, identify with you, and develop it. Igbos are good people who do not dominate others but contribute immensely wherever they find themselves.

Ijebu people are not Yoruba. The name Yoruba/Yariba is only 400 years old. The name Yoruba is not even indigenous to the Yoruba. No single historical settlement in the whole of Southwest has the name Yoruba attached to it. Igbo has: Igbo-Etche (Rivers), Igbo-Akiri/Igbanke (Edo), Igbo-Ukwu (Anambra), Igbo-Uzo/Ibuza (Delta), Igbo-Etiti (Enugu), Igbo-Eze (Enugu), Igbo-Nze (Enugu), Amaigbo (Imo), etc. Hausa has: Kafin Hausa L.G.A. (Jigawa), Kafin Hausa (Kano), etc. Yoruba has: none. Yoruba is an artificial conglomeration of ethnic groups with no historical cohesiveness.

Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State instructed all oil and gas companies operating in Imo State to maintain addresses there and pay their taxes in Imo State Government, stating that they cannot drill oil and gas from Imo State while paying taxes in Lagos. They gave excuses such as insecurity, lack of standard hotels, and Owerri not being well structured to fit their luxury lifestyles. Governor Hope Uzodinma has delivered: Concord Hotel is fixed, Owerri is fixed, and Imo State is peaceful. There are no more excuses. More companies are expected to move their addresses back to Owerri and pay taxes to the Imo State Government. Governor Hope Uzodinma is a big name.

IGBOS DIDN'T TAKE YOUR SHOPS. YOUR GOVERNMENT DID. You will never hear Hausa people complain that Igbos are taking over their shops. Hausas are business-oriented and in charge of their region. They know how to do business, just like Igbos. That is why a Hausa man does not cry that Igbos seized his market. It happens only in Yorubaland. In the South East, governments use their money to build markets and plazas for people to rent. They treat markets as a duty. In Lagos, government sells land to the highest bidder and stops there. Yet Yorubas expect an Igbo man to buy the land, build the plaza, then take orders on how to run his own business. Lagos already works on one rule: highest bidder wins. If you cannot beat them, join them and stop complaining. Nobody pointed a gun at you and said do not buy shops. You refused to buy. Now you complain that Igbos occupy plazas they and their brothers built. Make it make sense. Ask your government to build markets and give Yoruba people first refusal right. That is what other states do. In Abia State, government-built markets gave locals and existing shop owners first refusal right. That is government's job. Do not expect a private person, especially one who is not from your state or tribe, to do it for you. Channel your anger correctly. The Igbo man is not your problem. Your state government is. If Ladipo is full, Lagos can build another and fill it with only Yorubas. They will not, because they know who generates the money. Even if they build it, they will still rent to Igbos. Stop blaming Igbos. Blame your government that refuses to build for you.
