On the occasion of Baisakhi, I had the privilege of attending a heartfelt celebration with our Hindu and Sikh communities here in Antwerp, Belgium, honoring their resilience and cultural contributions to Afghan society. Baisakhi is a celebration of harvest, renewal, and unity. It reminds us of the strength in tradition and the beauty of diversity. The Hindu and Sikh minorities are inseparable parts of Afghanistan’s cultural fabric, their temples and gurdwaras stand alongside our mosques as symbols of a shared homeland.
