There seems to be an increase in brandishing guns to send messages by shock and awe. This James-Bond like habit of carrying out abductions by armed men firing haphazardly is dangerous to the public. It's one of the reasons for the travel advisories againt Uganda.

Murder most foul! Uganda Rugby Cranes player Sydney Gongodyo was allegedly killed by a mob of Boda Boda riders in Kampala accusing him of snatching a woman's handbag. Totally unacceptable. They should have arrested him and taken him to the Uganda Police Force with proof.

An enraged elephant allegedly collided with an omnibus in Karuma area in Northern Uganda. The elephant then attacked the occupants and killed some. Life is very unpredictable. You never know where/how death finds you. A perfectly health teatottler may be crashed by an elephant.

95 year old Samuel Wako Wambuzi born January 23, 1931, served three times as the Chief Justice of Uganda; from 1972 to 1975, 1979 to 1980 & 1986 to 2001. Sharp dresser, stands upright, & dances unaided. He must have been a just jurist. They don't make them anymore. God is kind.

This impunity on the road disguised as excitement should be punished heavily because it endangers other road users. How do people drive recklessly, all the way from Entebbe Airport in Wakiso to Salaama Road in Kampala without being stopped by the Uganda Police Force?
