The live recording of my 1,000th show at Camden Electric Ballroom will be available on 3LP and 2CD+Blu-ray from 7th November 2025. I feel privileged to have reached the 1,000 show milestone, and honoured to have shared that long journey with so many of you. The 1,000th show was an unforgettable moment in a career full of unforgettable moments, hopefully with many more still to come, and I'm delighted to be able to relive that night with you once again.

I knew I wanted a dark and dreamy sound for Strange Charm. However, I didn't quite know in which direction I wanted to take my songwriting. I started to listen to advice, and what a horrible can of worms that is. Everyone knew what I should and shouldn't be doing, or so it seemed. Write this, write that, do this, do that, work with him, work with them, write a dance track, write a funny track, collaborate, collaborate, collaborate. Every single piece of advice I got said more or less the same thing, I should be doing something else. But that mysterious 'something else' was different depending on who you spoke to.
