21st Dec, 2024 STATEMENT This morning at 3:15am, a team led by musician Alien Skin attacked the National Unity Platform Headquarters at Kavule. They violated the premises, threatened the security guard on duty and used graffiti to draw provocative things on our walls. It is regrettable that these brothers have learnt nothing from those who the regime and other detractors have used against the people in the past, including Sipapa, Sobi, Zebra, Kitatta, among others. It is sad that each time we're approaching elections, there is always a group willing to be used to engage in crimes against the people. We hope they will do some introspection before time catches up with them. END

The criminal regime has turned this election into a military operation. In this party video filmed in Sembabule, the military is seen chasing away opposition agents in order to pave space for ballot stuffing. UPDF and police operatives have blocked us from accessing our rally venue in Gulu city. Some of our campaign members have been brutalized during the blockade. Earlier, our own rally venue was also raided by goons who were under the regime police protection. Several of our property, music sound system and amplifier were all vandalized. The regime is enabling all sorts of violence against us and the Electoral Commission is just looking on! #FreeUgandaNow

The broad daylight ballot stuffing as captured by vigilant citizens. This has been the order of the day at numerous polling stations! Soldiers, goons and even other security operatives were seen stuffing pre-ticked ballot papers in favor of the NRM candidate. Broad day shamelessness! #KalangalaOnTheSpot

Yesterday at Namalu village, Amudat District, prisoners who were subjected to intensive labor in a sunflower field were filmed waving at us in desperation. In the New Uganda, the NUP government will not weaponize the judicial system. We will subject all cases of prisoners for review and scrutiny in order to decongest our already suffocated prisons all over the country. #FreeUgandaNow
