This UK life is honestly not easy on anyone. I don’t have a problem with the hustle. My concern is, when both partners are working 12-hour shifts, when do couples actually get time for themselves? When do they go on dates? When do they enjoy intimacy? When do they just sit down and enjoy each other’s company? Imagine finishing a 12-hour shift just to come home and collect your baby from your partner, who is also heading out for their own 12-hour shift. At what point do you actually get to enjoy the life you’re both working so hard for?
