Big thank you TeamYouTube — yes they did respond, and yes it was an actual human. They made a mistake and it was a completely different timetsamp. The reason for the violation was actually this clip. Regrettably, I will have to disable this redeem from my stream. RIP 🪦

Pro streamer tip — put a clock on your stream. This is single greatest thing you can do to increase your viewership.

Since Twitch doesn't allow combined chats, I made a widget that scrambles messages across the screen instead. It's inspired by the Niconico bullet style chat. Oh, and VTubers might love this part — you can even separate the layers and sandwich yourself between the messages.

The bot problem on Kick is absolutely out of control. This happens multiple times EVERY single stream. Plenty of Twitch streamers have outright told me that they refuse to stream on Kick until this gets addressed. CC: KICK Support

Nope — literally has nothing to do with OBS. Apex/Valorant/BF6 all nuke DirectShow drivers. Elgato, Avermedia etc. — any capture card that uses DirectShow is nuked SYSTEM WIDE until next reboot. OBS doesn't even need to be open for it to happen. USB capture cards are not impacted because they use UVC drivers — but almost every INTERNAL capture will get nuked if they use DirectShow. There is currently no known way to revive your capture card other than a full system restart.

If you’re a streamer that edits their VODs into high quality YouTube videos, this is HUGE. You can finally record multi-track videos — right in OBS — thanks to a new plugin from Aitum You can stream with all your fancy alerts and overlays *while* recording a clean copy of your webcam and gameplay on separate video tracks — all in a *single* file. It’s a bit rough around the edges at the moment, but I’ve put together a guide to set this all up. Full details in the replies 👇

It is done. I finally converted to a dual PC setup after using a single PC setup for 12 years. Live on Twitch/YouTube talking about the whole setup.

I spent all day making the Ocarina of Time into a Twitch widget so my viewers can play the Ocarina while I go to the bathroom.

If you're a streamer looking for a new music widget but sick of getting cucked by Spotify, I started working on a brand new Universal Now Playing widget. Some key features: • Works with (almost) any streaming platform — Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music, TIDAL, Soundcloud, Amazon Music — probably way more stuff I haven't even tested. • No Spotify Premium needed, no API garbage — even Spotify free users will be able to use it. • Supports local music on your PC. • Multiple themes + customization options • Sexy accent colors — I learned new tech and will be abusing this design language with all my widgets going forward.

I added an Instant Replay button to my stream that I can activate right from my controller. It’s plays this slick animated transition AND also saves the replay in horizontal + vertical formats + makes a Twitch clip in the background — all without having to take my hands off the controller.

My multichat widget now supports Twitch's new GIPHY integration. There's also a separate "Embed Images" options for global GIF/image support that will work with YouTube and Kick. 👇👇

OBS tip of the day - you can dock your chat, then force it to use the full height of the screen so you can see more chat messages.

Hey Twitch, I think it's time you updated the channel point system. This menu is getting way too cramped, and everyone hates Power-ups. Let's work together. I've got plenty of ideas.
