ALL GLORY TO GOD!! Just over a year ago last March I shot my first ever uspsa match. I quickly fell in love and addicted to this sport. Just over a year later I have won my first HIGH OVERALL AT A MAJOR MATCH!!! I WON THE MISSISSIPPI CLASSIC WOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!!!! I am so beyond thrilled right now, and even more excited for the future. All the hard work I have put into this, all the hours dryfiring, all the work thousands of rounds shot, are so worth it to feel this level of joy. I hope you all get to experience this happiness in your lifetimes. Thank you to all the amazing friends I have made along the way, and thank you to the ones who will come. I did vlog this trip and have an amazing vlog coming y’all’s way 🫡

If you are serious about shooting and want to gauge where you're at skill wise...GO SHOOT A MATCH!! whether its USPSA or IPSC or PSCL GO SHOOT A MATCH! You will learn SO much about where you are at and get to chat with shooters who can give you incredible advice to help you improve. Plus you'll make some amazing friends on the way 😊

AREA 6 CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH RESULTS TIME!! Colossians 3:17: "And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him" All Glory to God. I am beyond blessed and grateful for the opportunities I have to go to these matches I PLACED 6th IN CARRY OPTICS AT AREA 6 CHAMPIONSHIP!! As well as 45th overall! in just 7 months of shooting competitively I am placing top 10 at a LEVEL III Match This match was the HARDEST match I have ever shot and no one made it out clean accept Mike Hwang (2nd best shooter in the world). it was all around just HARD. I shot 90% of possible points with 4 Mikes. I am VERY humbled and excited to continue to improve I made my fair share of mistakes that will be listed in my match breakdown (see comments). My biggest takeaways from this match are that my steel target game NEEDS to be better yesterday. I had too many makeups on steel. I am still a baby in this sport so my movement is NOT where it needs to be. I am running way slower than I can as well as messing up stage plans. all in good time these things will be worked out.

CHRIST IS LORD!! GOD IS GREAT!!! Psalms 23:2-3 "He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name." PLEASE STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING, WATCH THE VIDEO BEFORE YOU READ THE POST PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God has blessed me in ways I truly cannot understand or imagine and continues to do so even when I think there wont be more he blesses me with more opportunities as I travel along this journey. In just 4 months time, 8 matches, I have made GRAND MASTER IN CARRY OPTICS!!!! This is a MONUMENTAL achievement to have made in such a short amount of time it still doesn't even feel real. this is truly only the beginning of my journey. I will be chasing national titles and working to become the best. I will not settle for anything else. this is the start of a long climb. This will not be easy and will be frustrating at times and there will be moments where I want to stop but wont. This is something that younger me would want to chase till the ends of the earth and now I have an opportunity to make it a reality. This is going to be a LONG post so please bare with me Today is my 20th birthday 🎉! I can’t Thank God enough for blessing me in the ways he has in the last six months. This is the first and probably not last birthday that I won’t really be celebrating. I am working today and have to meal prep. I went to the gym this morning which was some much needed therapy. So this will be my celebration. I am making this post celebrating all the important friends in my life who have changed it for the best. Mike I have known you for just over 2 years now and you have been around for some of my best moments and my worst moments. From helping me build out my first AR to watching you work your ASS off to build 2 amazing companies that won’t be going anywhere anytime soon with someone like you as a leader for them. Thank you for being there for me and encouraging me last year when I would send you dry fire videos. You don’t know it but I was going through one of the hardest seasons of my life and the encouragement you gave me ment the world and helped me. You were one of the first people to really motivate me to lose weight. Thank you brother Havoc 2-1 Thank you for all the encouragement and advice you have given me. When I posted that range video and you RT it commented and followed me I didn’t sleep AT ALL that night. It was the happiest I had been in a while to see someone who I looked up to recognize me and the stuff I was doing. And without you doing that I would never had found KingWash and gotten all the coaching he has given me. You motivate me and help keep me going. Thank you brother Wash Without you I would probably be heavier and weaker. And not a very good shooter compared to where I am at now. I truly mean it when I say you have changed my life in ways you don’t know and I can’t express online. Getting me in the gym and lifting. giving a kid with zero structure in his life, meaning and a structured path to follow and chase a dream is something only a few people in life are blessed with and I can’t thank you enough for everything you have done for me. Thank you brother Parker Geurin Thank you for being a role model to me. You are such an amazing father and family man and the positivity that you give is amazing man. Don’t ever stop being you and letting your light shine. And thank you for all the encouragement and kind words you have said to me, it truly means the world. You are a genuine dude who has a lot to give and I thank you for encouraging me as you have. Thank you brother grumpycattac Thank you for the encouragement and wisdom you have given me. When I first started dry firing you were quick to listen and slow to judge. You helped and encouraged me and for that I thank you. You have inspired me to be consistent on days where I haven’t wanted to do anything. seeing you post a dry fire session one less number than the day before makes me want to get off my lazy ass and work. Thank you both If I have missed someone I am sorry please forgive me as I have run out of space and am writing this at work.
