Big companies like Amazon have built a vast network of subcontractors who deliver their packages while shielding them from accountability. It leaves our workers unprotected and our streets less safe. Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall hit an average of 96 degrees last summer. We’re exploring a first-of-its-kind system that could cool subway platforms in the summer and use that heat to warm city buildings in the winter. A better commute, in every season.
