This time last year, I was under pressure to join Labour Party. During my consultations, I visited my 75yo uncle in the village. He was a Lagosian before he retired home. He told me “nwoke ghe ntị (listen up, man) if you want to be a populist, join Labour Party. But if you want to go far in politics, follow Jagaban”. Few days later, I joined APC. I would have been regretting today, if I had bowed to social media pressure and joined ELUPEE.
