Live - I was wondering why 9 was being ridden so close to 11. Made me squeemish for both 11 & 9. Rider had plenty of chances to correct & not race so dangerously. But he never DID! And of course as they turned for home, 9 went down due to contact. #9 Rider - PACO LOPEZ (SMH)

You have to admit when you are wrong. I was 100% wrong. What a race by Golden Tempo to win the Belmont by a head over Commandment. Two races make you legit - those two races were KY Derby and Belmont Stakes! Good training job by Cherie DeVaux The overhyped Renegade was the dud.

Golden Temp at a very underlaid 23-1 wins the 2026 KY Derby for trainer Cherie Devaux (first women trainer to win the Derby)! Looked like a pace meltdown late as deep closers swooped to go 1-2. Personally as a fan as long as Repole Stable does not win, I am cool with it.

Wow! Keeneland Racing - 3 (Ward firster w/ Rosario) was clear by five in midstretch. Virtual lock to win! But Rosario said, "Hold my beer." He did not ask much late. 2 (Walsh firster w/Prat) flew inside to nail him! Not saying Rosario is to blame. But he is not blameless either

We the fans of NYSOS has been saying it. He was the most talented 3YO. He will be the horse to beat as a four year old. He barely lost to Horse of Year internationally in Forever Young at Dubai. Despite Dubai layoff, he goes to lead, gets passed &then goes outside to draw off!
