For a supposedly educated man like Tunde Doherty, Chairman of APC United Kingdom, to claim he only realized Tinubu was lying about receiving an $850,000 “bonus” from Deloitte after Mehdi Hasan pointed it out is astonishing. Was the lie really that hard to see? Even D. H Bwala knew! See his body language. And here’s the irony: who interviewed Tinubu when he first made that claim? None other than Bayo Onanuga, OON, CON in his own publication, TheNews. The very same Onanuga who today serves as Tinubu’s Special Adviser. Tinubu has a remarkable talent, not just for spinning narratives, but for surrounding himself with people eager to defend them, no matter how absurd, indefensible, or detached from reality they are.

The president resides on Mount Olympus and only graces us mere mortals with his hallowed presence at defection rallies. He answers to no one. And Atiku aides like Hamma are already instructing their principal to follow suit. They live only for the perks of office.

The other day I saw a video where someone asked ChatGPT a simple question: “Based on management, who would you choose as the best governor in Nigerian history?” Peter Obi came out tops. I asked Perplexity the same question. The result: there is no single universally accepted “best governor” in Nigerian history, but if I have to select one based on management performance, data-driven governance and institutional reforms, I would choose Peter Obi (Anambra, 2006–2014). Interestingly, Perplexity didn’t stop at one name. It gave a full ranked table. Out of every governor in Nigeria’s history, Peter Obi sits at number one, and Kwankwaso still makes the top six. Two different tools. Two different methods. Same answer. And the same two names, Obi and Kwankwaso, sitting in the top tier. Nothing APC or ADC can do will erase this fact. If past is prologue, then Tinubu’s Nigeria is a preview of unprecedented fraud, waste, abuse and grift still to come. Nigeria has already seen what competent leadership looks like, and it wears two names: Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso.
