Today,Prafulla Haldar,Livestock Inspector,Raighar,O/o Chief Dist Veterinary, #Nabarangpur, was nabbed by #Odisha #Vigilance while taking bribe Rs.80,000/-from a beneficiary for relase of subsidy under Mukhyamantri Kamadhenu Yojana.Further cash Rs.8.24 lakh seized from his house.

Assets including 2 bldgs, 20 plots in #Sambalpur, Cash ₹19.72 lakh, 1 Hyva truck, 2 tractors, 1 four-wheeler, 3 two-wheelers etc, unearthed during searches of Dhanurdhar Biswal, Establishment Officer-cum-Office Superintendent, VIMSAR, Burla, Sambalpur. Searches continuing.

2 Crore cash stashed in Bank lockers, 5 Multi-Storey bldgs (4 in #Bhubaneswar) (17850 Sqft),13 Plots (7 in BBSR), etc. unearthed so far during searches on Sri Baikuntha Nath Behera, Asst Executive Engr, #ITDA, Baliguda, #Kandhamal. He joined service in 1999 as JE @ Rs 6000/- pm.

Today, Sri Dhiman Chakma, IAS (2021 batch), Sub-Collector, Dharamgarh, #Kalahandi, has been nabbed while taking bribe Rs. 10 Lakh from a businessman, threatening to act against his business otherwise. Further, Rs 47 lakh cash recovered during search at his govt. residence.

Approx 75 lakh cash recovered during ongoing search at properties linked to Barang Addl Tahsildar, Jitendra Kr Panda. Also, two Multi Storey Bldgs (8000 Sqft) at Bhubaneswar, One 2 BHK Flat at Uttara, BBSR &amp; 1 Multi Storey Bldg (4800 Sqft) at Khordha Town, 4 Plots etc unearthed.

A 2 storied bldg at #Bhubaneswar, Farm House (1.7 Acres) with a 2 storied bldg, 8 Plots, Deposits Rs 1.70 Crores, Cash Rs. 6.23 lakhs, Gold 350 gm, Hyundai Sportz &amp; Honda City cars etc unearthed in search of Rajesh Ch Mohanty, Addl Chief Engr, Irrigation by #Odisha #Vigilance.

Today, Ambika Prasad Rath, Auditor, O/o the Regional Director of Education, #Bhubaneswar has been nabbed by #Odisha #Vigilance while taking bribe Rs.4,000/- from a college staffer to facilitate drawal of MACP pay. Further, Rs 28.70 Lakhs recovered during searches &amp; seized.

Today , on the allegation of possession of disp. assets by Sri Baikuntha Nath Sarangi, Chief Engineer, RW Division, Odisha, house searches are on by #Odisha #Vigilance at 7 locations. Approx Rs 2.1 Crore cash recovered so far from his house at Bhubaneswar (1 Cr) &amp; Angul (1.1 Cr).

Today, suspected illgotten cash Rs.14,81,300/- recovered &amp; seized during house search of Sri Purna Chandra Choudhry, JE, Kashipur Block, #Rayagada, following his trap for taking bribe Rs 25,000/- from a Gaon Saathi for facilitating release of labour payment under MGNREG scheme.

Smt Akhyamita Kartik, OAS, BDO, Golamunda Blk, #Kalahandi who was intercepted with illgotten cash Rs 4.92 lakh, was arrested today &amp; forwarded to Court. She cleverly hid the cash in the vehicle door; however, based on its training &amp; SOPs, the #Odisha #Vigilance team unearthed it.
