Is Nate Oats going to dork Elliot Cadeau again? In No. 4 Alabama's upset over No. 1 UNC, Oats put Grant Nelson on Cadeau, and baited him into shooting 3s EC knocked down his first two 3PA, airballed the third, missed the next two... Then Hubert pulled him for the rest of the game Yes I know Cadeau is a MUCH improved 3PT shooter (38% this season) since his freshman year at UNC (19%) I'm not saying this is the best strategy or that Oats will definitely go back to it - but maybe he at least tries it early Have to think of some interesting ways to give his guys a chance defensively in a matchup where (like vs that UNC team) they are outmatched on the interior

Thoughts on the final play: 1. Alijah Martin and Will Richard were elite on this play. Great ball pressure and made Uzan/Cryer catch the ball way deeper than they wanted. 2. Sharp was open. Clayton got caught sleeping. He was ready for the pass but Cryer couldn't get it there quick enough bc of Richard's length 3. Great recovery from Clayton to contest. Sharp did have time to shot fake and take a dribble. But I don' think he saw Clayton until he had already started to elevate for the shot

Andrew McKeever naturally has a ton of gravity as a roller as a 7-2 giant. McCollum will have a ton of fun scheming PnR with the big fella at his disposal. Iowa was 2nd in the country in % of possessions last year ending with the roll man McKeever shot 71% as a roll man compared to 43% on post ups in 2025-26

Alon Michaeli to SLU is one of my FAVORITE under the radar pickups The big fella moves really well. Good ball handler. Great spin move. Crafty. Runs the floor. 3pt shot takes a while to get off, shot <30%, but showed he can hit it. I think he could THRIVE offensively with Schertz's spacing and up-tempo style

Sebastian Williams-Adams is a really fun fit at Vandy Extremely versatile and switchable defensively at 6-8. Great athlete, cutter, and passer. My one question is how does the 3pt shooting come along. SWA was 8-24 from deep on the season until the last two games of the NIT, where he shot 4-7 (clipped below). Will be interesting to see if that shot can develop. And if MB deploys him as more of a 3 or a 4.
