FIRST DRONE TRAINING CAPSULE IN MANIPUR ORGANISED BY ASSAM RIFLES IN COLLABORATION WITH IIIT MANIPUR CONCLUDES WITH A GRAND FELICITATION CEREMONY Drone Training Node, Modi (Chandel) of #AssamRifles in collaboration with IIIT #Manipur, organised Manipur’s first Drone Training Capsule at IIIT, Imphal, Manipur from 19 to 23 Jul 2025. Conducted by IIT Dhanbad experts, the capsule trained 140 participants in drone tech for surveillance, disaster response, agricultural support and more. The closing ceremony held at IIIT, Imphal, graced by senior Assam Rifles officials and academic dignitaries, highlighted the civil-military synergy in skill development. EASTERN COMMAND INVESTITURE CEREMONY AT RANCHI (JHARKHAND) Eastern Command conducted Investiture Ceremony 2025 at Ranchi, Jharkhand on 12 Feb 2025. Five Units of #AssamRifles that is 6 Assam Rifles, 9 Assam Rifles, 14 Assam Rifles, 25 Assam Rifles and 37 Assam Rifles were honored with the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Command Unit Citation. The prestigious unit citations were presented by Lt Gen Ram Chander Tiwari, UYSM, AVSM, SM, GOC-in-C Eastern Command in recognition of their professional excellence.
