#WeCare #Motivate_Facilitate_Empower #Spreading_Smiles_Happiness 𝗔𝗦𝗛𝗔 - 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗳𝗲 (#𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗖𝗮𝗳𝗲) On 27 May 2026, #MrsSunitaDwivedi, #PresidentAWWA, along with #GeneralUpendraDwivedi, #COAS, dedicated 𝗔𝗦𝗛𝗔 - 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗳𝗲 to our Children with Special Needs (#CwSN). Conceived by Mrs Sunita Dwivedi, this is a unique and noble initiative aimed at empowering CwSN and widows by creating meaningful employment opportunities, fostering confidence, dignity and self-reliance. The initiative has been supported by our #CSR partner, Diageo India (USL), 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲. Envisioned as a 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗦𝗛𝗔 𝗖𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱, #TheHopeCafe will be established across military stations to create sustainable avenues of empowerment and inclusion for #CwSN and widows. #WeCare #Motivate_Facilitate_Empower Women Empowerment through Entrepreneurship Marking International Women’s Day 2026, the Army Women’s Welfare Association (AWWA) signed an MoU with Amazon India to expand entrepreneurship opportunities for women from Army families. Through this collaboration, #AWWA entrepreneurs will be supported under the #AmazonSaheli initiative to launch and scale their businesses on Amazon Saheli platform, enabling them to reach customers across the country. This important day was marked by a Voluntary Blood Donation Drive , led by #MrsSunitaDwivedi #PresidentAWWA, with enthusiastic participation of women volunteers across the nation . Their collective effort reflected compassion, solidarity and a shared commitment to saving lives. Initiated on International Women’s Day 2025 , this noble initiative continues to encourage women from all walks of life to come forward and donate blood, strengthening the spirit of service and contributing to the critical need for blood during medical emergencies. Thread - 1 of 4 #WeCare #Motivate_Facilitate_Empower Celebrating the 59th #AWWA_Day (23 Aug 2025) On this special day, #MrsSunitaDwivedi #PresidentAWWA, warmly connected with AWWA beneficiaries across the nation through digital platforms, reaffirming the noble vision on which AWWA was founded. She also engaged closely with our special invitees – Veer Naris, Veer Matas and families of our brave soldiers – honouring their resilience and sacrifices. An intensive welfare drive was conducted by #DIAV20, #AWPO, and ECHS to provide on-the-spot and instant support for issues related to documentation, pay and pension. Medical specialists from #BHDC carried out comprehensive health check-ups, offered medical advice and recorded details to ensure follow-up care. The day was marked by enthusiastic participation by wives of our serving soldiers, children & beneficiaries for awareness, empowerment and bringing positive change in their lives. #WeCare #Motivate_Facilitate_Empower Creating Opportunities • Building Brighter Tomorrow Students from #Asha_School #DelhiCantt join the maiden apprenticeship programme started by #AWWA to learn useful skills, gain confidence & financial independence — with active support from their parents in their journey with #AWWA. #MrsSunitaDwivedi, #President_AWWA, interacted with the children and their families, motivating them to embrace and make the best use of the opportunity in preparation to join the bigger world in a dignified manner. #WeCare #Motivate_Facilitate_Empower VEER NARI SAMMAN SAMAROH On the occasion of 79th Shaurya Diwas, #MrsSunitaDwivedi, #PresidentAWWA, intimately interacted with our #VeerNaris and Veer Matas at the Manekshaw Centre, sharing heartfelt moments in remembrance of our #Bravehearts who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation. During the event, a team from #DirectorateOfIndianArmyVeterans (DIAV) proactively met with NOKs, thoroughly identified errors in documentation and promptly initiated corrective measures for on-the-spot resolution, aimed to ease challenges faced by families and ensure that entitlements reach them seamlessly.
