Cape League Scout Deck Spotlight: Jo Oyama (UCI Baseball) has been impressive at the plate thus far for the Orleans Firebirds. Oyama is hitting .357 with FIVE triples and three doubles! Cape League Scout Deck Spotlight: RHP Sean Matson (Harvard Baseball) has been absolutely lights out for the Orleans Firebirds all summer! Matson has not allowed a single run all summer in 24 total innings pitched! His ability to consistently spot up pitches and keep hitters guessing has allowed him to be the Birds’ go to man out of the bullpen. Cape League Scout Deck Spotlight: Will King (EKU Baseball) has been a very consistent bat for the Y-D Red Sox lineup. He has also done a great job behind the dish. He is 4th among all hitters in batting average at .327 and boasts a K% of less than 5%. King has been solid defensively as well. He’s thrown out 7 runners so far this summer.
