MP Archuna is back in the spotlight, and not for the right reasons. This time, he’s allegedly gone and clouted someone with a plate in a restaurant. Now, granted, our Parliament isn’t exactly a beacon of virtue—after all, we’ve had convicted murderer warming a seat in there. But let’s not kid ourselves; just because the bar’s set in the gutter does not mean we should let MPs behave like they are above the law. This kind of conduct is as far from parliamentary decorum as you can get, and no amount of finger-pointing at worse offenders will wash.

Can you believe it? There's a bunch of absolute lunatics chasing after two Sri Lankan Sloth Bears. These safari jeeps seem to think it's a brilliant idea to scare the living daylights out of innocent wildlife. National parks are meant to be sanctuaries, places where animals can roam in peace. After nearly 3 years, I finally received an official response. ⭕️ Take a moment, 💭 Imagine what Rs. 15Bn could achieve: How many Schools 🏫 could be reopened? Hospitals🏥 developed? Universities 📖 expanded? Public infrastructure 🚑renovated? ⭕️Except for the flamboyant flyby during Independence Day parade, what else would this ‘flying white elephant’ achieve when the economy is hanging by a thread? ⭕️ Again, Rs. 15 Billion is not peanuts‼️💰#Taxes are at an all time high❗️ President Anura Kumara Dissanayake as Commander in Chief and Minister of Defense must request the Defense establishment to re-consider, negotiate or at least to justify this expenditure.
