Today, the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), Rt. Hon. Ekperikpe Ekpo, undertook his first official inspection visit to the PTDF College for Petroleum and Energy Studies, Kaduna (CPESK). The visit represents a major milestone in the Federal Government’s ongoing commitment to domesticating globally competitive education and expertise in the oil and gas sector. During the visit, the Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF), Mr. Ahmed Galadima Aminu, announced that CPESK is set to commence split-site PhD programmes in 2025. These programmes will be run in collaboration with international partner institutions, including Robert Gordon University, the University of Strathclyde, and the University of Portsmouth. He also disclosed that a significant number of Nigerians have already applied for admission to the College through the recently advertised PTDF 2025 Overseas Scholarship Scheme (OSS).
