Political violence, assault, thuggery, and criminal intimidation should be history in Nigerian elections. In 2023, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu noted that “the fact that the APC narrowly lost Lagos State to another party should not be the reason for violence. As a democrat, you win some, you lose some.” He continues to condemn all forms of electoral violence till date. We call on presidential candidates Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi to condemn the renewed acts of violence and threats against APC members both offline and online. No one should be intimidated, harassed, threatened, or beaten for campaigning for or supporting the APC or any other party whatsoever. On Friday 14th August, I paid homage to the Palace of the Alayegun of Odeomu, the Paramount Ruler of Odeomu, HRH Oba James Bola Oladipupo, Idi Asa I. During the visit, the Palace Chiefs spoke glowingly about my father’s legacy. It got me deeply emotional. I miss my darling father so much 💙. He was a great man; gave to everyone. He gave me everything. I always cry when I visit his grave. I pray that his soul will continue to rest in peace 💙.

When the convicted terrorist Nnamdi Kanu, Simon Ekpa, and their IPOB terrorist group were running mad between 2018-2023, there was a man who stood up to them while others cowered, some defended, and others openly supported them. I mean, several intellectuals, politicians, architects, academics, senior government officials and business leaders were excusing terrorism in our very eyes 👀! The name of this gentleman is Nyesom Wike. He was at the time, the Governor of Rivers State. Listen to him here where he threatened that anyone who brings terrorism to Rivers will die like a goat after their head has been blown off. He also said their bodies will be eaten by vultures. Nigerians should compare this firm stance with that of folks with no balls who were saying “……they are our bothers and neighbours…..” God forbid that anyone who cannot openly condemn terrorism be given an opportunity to lead as Governor or President. God forbid!

Again, I extend my heartfelt sympathy to families of the 39 students and 7 teachers kidnapped from Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State. This is a throwback video of when President Obasanjo ordered a shoot at sight on OPC members. Fulani terrorists have done enough damage across Nigeria in the last 10 years. They have killed thousands of innocent people across Benue, Plateau, Kaduna and other states. This is a fact.
