This is what D1 District Final games used to look like. 🏀 In 2000, No. 4 Mansfield Sr. beat No. 7 Lima Sr. 96-92 in OT at Savage Hall. The Tygers won 3 straight OT games before losing to No. 1 Libbey in the regional final. Led by Ricky Minard & Herman Davis.

March 28, 1992 Division 1 state championship: West Chester Lakota (88) Lima Sr. (86) -This game had so many storylines (OT, 3rd meeting between the two conferences foes, 2-time Mr. Bball, Lyles w/43, Gregor w/25, 13,231 in attendance). Oh, and voice of the great John Keefe!

Saddened to hear the unexpected passing of former South Webster head coach Marc Kreischer. He is a 1996 Lexington graduate playing for the late Steve Gray and earning 2nd Team All-OH. In his honor, here are a couple of clips from the Jeeps 2006 state championship (26-2).
