This scene is one of the reasons I’ll never look at Game of Thrones the same way again. Ned Stark came to the Tower of Joy believing he was there to rescue his sister, but what he found was a group of men willing to die for a secret they had protected until the very end. What gets me is Arthur Dayne. He knew the war was over. He knew his side had lost. He knew there was almost no chance of walking away alive… yet he still stood there with his sword drawn because his duty was bigger than his own survival. And then there’s the fight. Ned was supposed to be the hero of the story, but watching Arthur Dayne fight made me question everything I thought I knew about that man. He was absolutely terrifying with a sword. But the real shock comes afterward. Ned tells the story one way. Bran watches what actually happened. And suddenly, the past doesn't feel as simple as the legends made it sound. To me, that's what makes this scene unforgettable: sometimes the story we inherit isn't the truth… it's just the version someone survived long enough to tell. 🎬 Game of Thrones: S6 Ep3, Oathbreaker
