People will test your patience. Someone asked me to help her bring a gown that her tailor sewn for her. I told her that my luggage is full already but she pleaded that it was only "one dress", and I was forced to oblige make I no turn to a bad person. They brought the supposed "one dress" to my hotel now and see what they brought! I brought out my digital travel weighing scale, and to my biggest shock, the supposed one dress was weighing 4.30kg. When I opened the stuff to see what was in it, I was surprised to see four pairs of dresses and a slippers in it. People will indeed test your patience.

For the past three to four years now, I usually go on holiday twice a year — one international solo trip and one local family vacation. I do go for my solo vacation in spring and our family holiday is during the summer when the kids are on school break. Schools have finally shutdown for summer break last week and the kids are already all pumped up for our family vacation which will be coming up in few weeks from now. We haven't yet gone for our family summer vacation for this year but babe has already started making plans for our 2027 summer holiday. Last weekend, she brought up the idea of just the two of us going on a boat cruise next summer. She wants it to be just me and her without the kids. She suggested that we bring in a family member on invitation from Naija, such that there will be a family at home with the kids while we both go on a lovey-dovey boat cruise to western Europe. She advised that we should start saving up for the adventure by September. This woman and long term planning are five and six, and that virtue has been very helpful in helping us avoid financial pressure. We do everything with ease, thanks to her wisdom. For instance, two weeks before the end of the session that ended last week, we have already bought the kids school uniforms for 2026/27 academic session that will be starting in September; thanks to my wife's wisdom. If she hasn't suggested it, it wouldn't have even crossed my mind at all. I am awake now, staring at this beautiful woman sleeping peacefully next to me and I feel nothing but joy in my heart and total love for her. I am really blessed to have someone like her as my better half. I am the often chaotic and the more expressive person while she is the calm, quiet and better organised one. We perfectly compliment each other. It'll be our 12th anniversary in exactly a month's time from now, and I really look forward to our anniversary getaway weekend. Cheers to forever, baby.

What are the odds that this same accident that Anthony Joshua survived but unfortunately got two other people killed could have happened to him in the UK where he is based? I admit that accident can happen anywhere in the world, but I know that an overloaded truck would never be allowed on the road in the UK. And I also know that UK roads will never degenerate to the appalling condition that Ogun State roads have become. OK, let's assume that the accident did happen to him in the UK, do you think there won't be any ambulance at all in the accident scene? All I am trying to point out is that Nigeria roads are death traps and it is very necessary for the government to fix the roads. If the government wants to tax Nigerians like other western countries tax their people, the government should at least provide the basic amenities for the benefit of the masses. I know some people will still say that I hate Nigeria and its government but I don't care how they feel. Ìwọ̀fà l'ẹnu. Anyone living abroad but still supports the anyhowness and poor living condition that the government has subjected the people to is the one who truly hates Nigerians. I wish AJ a quick recovery and I pray that the souls of the departed victims find an eternal rest.

My colleague yabbed me about how dirty my car was yesterday and I told him that I am not always motivated to wash my car because it always rain everytime I wash the car, but he said it can't be true that rain must always fall everytime I wash my car and it was just a coincidence every time it had happened in the past. Then, we had a bet. That car was really dirty, make I no lie. So, after eating supper tonight, the little ones and I drove to asda service station to get the car washed. This was at about 7:40pm on Wednesday 29th July. If it rains in the next 24hrs, that means I won the bet between me and my colleague, and he will give me £10, but if it doesn't rain, I am the one that will give him £10. Today's temperature hit 35°C, it hasn't rained in over 40 days now and it doesn't look like it would rain any time soon, but I won't be surprised if it rains tomorrow, especially now that I just washed my car tonight. I hope it rains so I can use the guy's money to buy fish.

I have seen several videos of Ella where she was constantly ranting about nonavailability of BRT buses to commute people to their various destinations. People wait on a very long queue for as long as one to two or three hours waiting for buses to come. I wonder what kind of a society is so much comfortable with wastage of valuable economic hours at the bus stop, just standing! Do we even understand anything about the value of time in monetary terms. Perhaps Nigerians will learn to value time more if people are getting paid on hourly rates. The eye sore for me was yesterday when Ella who is now otherwise known in the social media space as "BRT lady" was almost beaten up by the same set of people she was speaking up for. A particular lady said "Ella should tell her father to buy buses and put on the road". Imagine that! Sometimes, I wonder if some people have been cursed with suffering and poverty because I'll never understand why some persons can be so antagonistic against someone else who is requesting for a better life. Some other morons online were saying stuffs like "must she use BRT", "why can't she "enter a danfo or korope", "she will soon get tired", "she should go back to her state in the southeast. Ṣé ìṣẹ́ bá àwọn kan mu'lẹ̀ ni? 🤷🤷 Today now, there were many BRT buses on the queue waiting for people to board. My question is "where were all these buses before now"? A government that waits until someone speaks up before providing the basics is an irresponsible government, and so also, a group of people who gang up to shut down someone who is speaking up for something that will benefit everyone is a group of imbeciles and morons. In a sane clime, buses have a time schedule and they move round the clock. Even if there was no one at the bus stop, a bus leaves that bus stop at the time it is meant to leave. It's abnormal for a huge number of people to be waiting for hours at the bus stop and they were all comfortable doing it. Kudos to Ella for making her voice heard. An average person in our society doesn't know the quality of life he/she deserve and that is why those in position of authority will keep treating the poor masses like trash. If you don't know what you deserve, how do you demand for more? It is the ignorance of the ignorants that keeps sustaining a mediocre ecosystem. Bro and sis, please do all you can to escape from the crowd.

Dear young men, You can be anything in this life but please don't be a simp. I was seeing various video snippets of a certain man who went to the honest bunch podcast to share the tales of his bitter ordeal in his marriage to a certain lady whose name I don't want to mention. I sincerely have no idea about the couple until I saw the video but I realised from online comments that they were a very popular power couple on Instagram way back 2018 or thereabout. Out of curiosity, I went on YouTube to watch the full video on Glitch Africa Studio channel. I cringed while watching the video because I was very pissed off with what the guy was saying. I felt for him at the same time though. My question still remains "how can a guy be so naive?". He married at 37yrs of age. One would have expected a 37y/o man to be well experienced about life. Now he is 48yrs old with no child anywhere in the world, and his wife has left him too. His first mistake: She was already married and divorced, and she told you about it, but you are a single man who has never been married, yet you made a divorced woman your first choice and you even got married to her just five months after she slid into your DM. She was already leading you on handicap with her prior marriage experience. As a single man, marrying a divorced woman or a single mother is more like you playing Russian roulette with your life. Another mistake: You agreed to her travelling abroad while you stay behind in Nigeria. She outgrew you while you remained at same level. Another mistake: You saw a chat she had with her friend where she said she was done with you and all sort, yet you still chose to stay in the long distance marriage and kept on fooling and simping. Another mistake: You agreed to her doing an arranged marriage in US so she can get a green card. Another mistake: You live in Nigeria and earn in naira but you still send money to your "wife" who is in America. I can go on and on but wetin concern me self. Anyways, like MKO the comedian would always banter on his show, "Dodoyo go dance gbedu". As a man, you are only allowed to simp up till 25yrs of age. It'll be fun if Arsenal can get Bodo/Glint in the next round draw and then gets eliminated by same Bodo. I don't know how best to describe it but I'll try my bit. Oha is a kind of leafy vegetable, just like ugwu, efinrin, tẹ̀tẹ̀, ewúro (bitterleaf) etc are. Soup made from a certain type of vegetable leaves is called by the name of the leaf. You know just as we talk about bitterleaf soup, ọbẹ̀ ẹ̀fọ́ tẹ̀tẹ̀, ọbẹ̀ ẹ̀fọ́ ṣọkọ, ugwu soup etc, soup cooked with oha leaf is also referred to as oha soup. In frame one, oha soup is in the pot on the right hand side. And in frame 2 is oha soup served with ẹ̀bà. You know I'm #AgbaChef for a reason. 😁😁

Nigerians will complain about everything all the time, both online and offline, but when it comes to taking responsibility, they are always missing in action and will be nowhere to be found. Local council election is holding in AMAC (Abuja and environs) today and people are still waiting to be begged to go out and vote. Ick! Voting is the civil right of every citizen of Nigeria. No one needs to force anyone to go out to vote whenever it is time to elect people into various political offices. Except for those people who belong to the alakatakiti JW sect whose ideology is completely contrary to that of every other normal and reasonable persons, I don't think anyone is supposed to be told before they know that they are supposed to go out to vote today. As a resident of Abuja, if you like go out to vote today, if you like be indifferent about it and sit back at home doing "Netflix and chill". No be me go tell you wetin you go do, the choice is entirely yours to make. But one thing is certain; a new Nigeria is POssible.

People to me: "You don't look 41 at all." I know! Do you want to know the reasons behind it? I don't look 41 because I am intentional with my lifestyle. I eat healthy balance diet and exercise too. Despite being mobile, I still try to do a minimum of 6000 steps everyday. And once in a while, I do light workout on my own. I burn as much calories as I consume. And another important thing I do is that I don't carry things on my head. I go to bed very light. I have zero hate in my heart. I may not vibe well with you, but be rest assured that I don't hate you at all. Hate is a cancer that eats one out from inside. I embrace my peace of mind, happiness and self love above everything else.
