TOMORROW, 9:30AM PT We go live with an Odyssey announcement (or two) I've been looking forward to for some time. I think these releases will make where world models are headed, and how powerful they can become, much more obvious. So hyped. GPUs scaling as we speak.

Introducing Agora-1, a world model that's learned to simulate multi-agent experiences. It's so fun. Today we're launching a playable research preview, where you can relive your childhood and enjoy a multiplayer simulation of GoldenEye. So excited about this new capability!

Remember this vaporware from E3 2009? Project Milo went super viral, but something that intelligent wasn’t close to possible then. 16 years later we now know how to build this, and make video intelligent, interactive, and open-ended. Interactive video models!

Odyssey-2 now streams 16:9 video if you're on a big screen, and shows an awesome advantage of interactive video models. Unlike pre-recorded video, real-time generated video intelligently adapts to the screen, viewer, and input device. Really sci-fi when you think about it!

Language models predict the next token. Interactive video models predict the next video frame. We're in the 2022-era of these models, but video feeling sentient is imminent, along with an explosion of applications.

There's something really wild seeing a livestream of a model's imagination, and being able to interact with it.

We're 1-2 weeks out from our next-gen launch, and more work to do to get there, but the model is looking super promising. I love it so much 🥹 ❤️ Odyssey ❤️

This is my favorite sequence generated by our next-gen world model. Being "idle" is an action fed to the model, just like forward is. And in this case, the model thought idling in the rain meant an umbrella should bounce in/out of view. Little touches of realism go a long way!

This simulation (generated by Odyssey-2 Pro in real-time) felt profound to me. It's demonstrating the model is learning early cause-and-effect. When pressure from hands is applied to wet clay, the clay is moulded. You can now integrate this model into your app with our API!
