Honestly can’t remember the last time I saw Joe Willock with this level of confidence - mind a lot of it isn’t his fault due to injuries etc. But how #NUFC could do with this creativity/output right now. Even his ball-carrying, it just all seems like it’s faded. So sad man.

With Callum Wilson set to depart #NUFC it’s probably time to forget the last year, and focus on the brilliant service he has provided for the club. Joined at a ‘dark time’ under an even worse manager, but that didn’t stop him from scoring a very good amount of goals for his circumstance, and being a standout player alongside the likes of Allan Saint-Maximin. Even after the takeover Wilson only excelled, going on to score 18 goals and claiming 5 assists in the season the Magpies reached the Champions League. Definitely the correct time for Callum Wilson to go his separate ways with Newcastle, but his goals and homage to the famous number 9 shirt will not be forgotten. 🫡
