I spoke to Jaelan Phillips privately about a trade 3 weeks ago. He did not want to go anywhere! Miami was his home. He and his fiancée were building a life here. But he eventually learned that business trumps everything in the NFL and came to terms with it seemingly.

So, to share the details of my Daddy Daughter Dance experience. Mila LOVED everything about the day, and the dance. She loved her wrist corsage, which was expensive as hell ($35). She never left me, not once, even when her friends showed. We all danced together. For 90 minutes straight. She kept asking me to pick her up and dance with her, which is tough because she weighs about 50 pounds. My back is on fire. But we had a ball. This is her birthday weekend and we kicked it off in style.

It’s not cold in Cleveland, it’s barely raining and it’s not even windy TWO HOURS before Dolphins-Browns kickoff. It’s a typical Cleveland day now.

The Bills are in their 4-minute offense, running the ball to kill the clock. Dolphins know Buffalo’s running to close out the 48-20 win and CAN’T STOP THEM. These aren’t all backups on the field. Dolphins have a run defense issue, and it isn’t going away.

Just watched Indiana CB D’Angelo Ponds run his mock 40. He’s moving, moving. Small, but the speed and agility are there. This is sub 4.4.

Today at #Dolphins practice I saw this very interesting exchange between Jaelan Phillips and Bradley Chubb. I’ve covered this sport for 20 years and never witnesses this type of hand-to-hand combat drill before.

Caleb Douglas has been the top offensive standout at Dolphins camp. He’s the real 7-Eleven, always opens. I honestly have no clue why he’s always open. Gonna be studying him moving forward because he’s an NFL starter.

Bradley Chubb asked if we wanted the PR answer, or the real answer about his $5.2M worth of bonuses that are contingent on the Dolphins finishing top 20 in scoring defense, which requires them to allow 3 less point than the Falcons allow this weekend.

This is the play that has Tyreek Hill claiming he’s “washed.” Even though Hill ran the fastest mph speed of the season (22.01), regaining the top spot, you have to wonder what Giants safety Xavier McKinney was running when he caught him.

You wanna know the truth about why Tua doesn’t look the same as he has in the past? Why he looks uncomfortable at QB? We obsess about him not staying healthy then give him the worst player on the worst NFL line to protect his blindside, a rookie who honestly shouldn’t be starting, and a practice squad player.
