Introducing Ondo Intelligent Portfolios, the first three portfolios powered by BlackRock. Ondo Intelligent Portfolios introduces a new onchain product category: curated investment portfolios delivered as single onchain transferable tokens. Tokenization is bigger than one vote. “There’s no end of things that we can do using our existing authority.” SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce on how the agency can advance its regulatory work regardless of whether the CLARITY Act passes. “We have been doing what we will continue to do regardless of whether the legislation goes forward, which is using the tools we have” Tokenization is becoming too important for regulatory progress to hinge on one bill. The SEC’s work on guidance, exemptions, and custody will continue beyond this vote, clearing a path for onchain finance in the U.S.
