Dandy figured out how to get her onesie off some I’m giving her some breathing time from it. It’s also apparently a busy day at the biscuit factory as she’s has been making a huge batch.

Dandy was playing with one of Spike’s toys today. Yes, that’s a blanket with Spike’s face on it. My sister is very good at Christmas gifts.

Another toy that came in yesterday. For those worrying I have removed the bell from her punching bag for safety. We’ll see later today if it still has its magic without the sound.

Had a first from Dandy this morning. She rushed to the door with Spike to greet me. I think she might have missed me.

Just a short video to show that, although he often seems terrified, Spike really does love Dandy.

Someone mentioned using a tote bag as a “cat cave”. I need to find a way to hold it open for her but she’s a big fan of the handles. Gibson’s Bookstore you may want to consider marketing these as cat toys.

Paper bags still a favorite thing, regardless of size.

I’ve recently weighed Dandy and she is 10.4 lbs. Here is a short video of her making biscuits while setting all 40 of those lbs on my chest.

Vet appointment is later today. Not much to update on before that. Still super snuggly. Still lives in the bathroom. Pretty sure this picture was my first scolding for letting the food bowl be empty.

I’m told today is Ginger Cat Appreciation Day. If you do not have your own ginger cat to appreciate, you may appreciate Dandruff. Here is some ASMR of her being appreciatd presented for your appreciation.

Possibly the coolest mail I’ve ever received. SaMindy 💜🤍🖤 sent me the illustrations for Dandy’s children’s story! It’s a real thing and I can flip through it and show it to people and it exists!

I am a terrible person who is torturing this poor creature. Spike desperately wants up on the bed, but he didn’t learn to use the stairs and I can’t lift him without grabbing too near his wounds. Here he is singing me the song of his people.

Picked up some of the name brand Churu tube treats and can now vouch that they are indeed kitten crack. Also Spike got a few licks in too and he also seems to approve.

Tonight is my first double since Dandy has been free roaming. Just got back from feeding them so here’s an update. Both kiddos were on the bed when I came in, Spike in his normal spot and Dandy about 3 feet away. Here’s a video of Dandy telling me how to make her food again.

Dandy is doing things. I don’t exactly understand what the things are, but they seem very important.

Part of our morning routine. Once Spike and I get back inside from his morning constitutional, Dandy shows me where her crunchy treats are. Then she leads me back to her Kitten Condo Complex and her offering bowl. She then patiently waits until the appropriate offering is made.

Sometimes it’s hard figuring out something to post. Today I outsourced the thinking to Dandy and asked her what she thought. She said the internet needed to see her eat a Churu. (She actually said you needed to see her eat ALL the Churu, but that seemed a bit much.)

A couple videos from this morning. First we have Spike out for his morning workout. He was really exploring the space today, weaving to and fro. Then we have a treat offering to Dandy upon Dandyland.
