In 1984, India's Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was assassinated by her sikh bodyguards . That same year, her son Rajiv Gandhi succeeded her as prime minister. In 1987, Rajiv was attacked while inspecting a guard of honour in Colombo Sri-Lanka in what was seen as an assassination attempt. The assailant sailor was not happy about a deal the Indian prime minister had brokered the previous night between the Sinhalese Majority and Tamil guerillas. Although Rajiv survived this attempt on his life during the inspection of the guard of honour in Sri-Lanka, in 1991 a 22 year old girl who still held a grudge against India's involvement in Sri-Lankan civil war, sailed from Sri-Lanka to India , where she assassinated Rajiv in a plot deviced by the Tamil. Disguised as a civilian, the lady approached Rajiv Gandhi during an election rally with an explosive device hidden under her clothing. She greeted him, then pretended to bend down to touch his feet as a show of respect and detonated a belt laden with explosives. The assassination led to a diplomatic row between India and Sri-Lanka!!!

Ladies and gentlemen, the woman being flogged is Wendo. Wendo had asked someone to call her family and tell them she had died and her body was lying at the mortuary. Her family rushed there, but they found no record of her. When they went to her house, they found her alive and smiling. But here’s the funniest part: while she was being beaten, she stopped them and said, “Ata sijakula!” 😂😂… like seriously! 😂😂 This one must be a last-born child.

Speaking in Kitale, former Cabinet Minister Noah Wekesa provoked political tension by declaring to Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition figures that William Ruto's re-election would be secured early in the morning a comment that nearly prompted Eugene Wamalwa to forcibly grab the microphone.

A friend of mine captured this eye-opening footage right in Westlands, Nairobi. It's a stark reminder of the hidden risks in our daily packaging food choices. So, before you rush to order that convenient packed lunch or those seemingly fresh fruits, as a savvy consumer, take a moment to think twice consider the sourcing, handling, and potential hygiene issues that could affect your health and well-being. Staying informed and cautious can make all the difference in avoiding unnecessary risks!

Raila received about 6.5 million votes, and Ruto got roughly 6.7 million. Add those together and you’re already past 13 million, that’s how broad-based our support is. Even if you subtracted two million votes and sent them elsewhere, Ruto would still be left with more than 10 million votes. So how exactly do they plan to remove him?

During this rainy season, everyone is urged to exercise extreme caution. Earlier today in Maasai Mara National Reserve, a powerful bull elephant was forced to turn back after attempting to cross the heavily flooded Sand River. The strong current and rising water levels made the crossing too dangerous, even for such a massive animal. This serves as a clear reminder to all driver guides and visitors that rivers can become extremely unpredictable during the rains. Please approach river crossings carefully and avoid unnecessary risks. Safety should always come first in these conditions. 🎥 Video by Enock Sayagie.
