1st July 2015 - Grimsby Town sign Padraig Amond on a free transfer after he is released by Morecambe. In his only season with the club Amond becomes a firm fans favourite with a superb return of 37 goals in 52 appearances as Town are promoted back to the Football League. #GTFC

1st March 2023 - Gavan Holohan scores two penalties as Grimsby win 2-1 at Premier League Southampton to reach the quarter finals of the FA Cup for the first time since 1939. Backed by an amazing 4300 fans the League Two Mariners set up a tie at Brighton in round six. #GTFC
