I swear to god there's barely anything to this gunplay. The sounds are generic, the spray is catastrophic and sometimes ammo is scarce for the rare guns. But God does it just feel so fucking good to unload hot lead on all the Reds. Freedom Fighters is as good as I remembered it.

Oh dude HEATWARPED fucking GETS IT. Pure 2000s NFS action, a Y2K tuner scene, pounding DnB/metal, weighty handling and none of that cookie-cutter modern racing game bullshit. Please support the devs, because this is EXACTLY the kinda energy I wish to see more of in gaming!!!

The importance of having adequate vertex density for proper vertex lighting! Without enough geometry, the light simply has nowhere to go. A little extra geometry can make the difference between night and day. 👀 Something worth keeping in mind for your PSX-flavored games!

🎉🎉🎉 Holy shit, debut post! 🎉🎉🎉 Hey, I'm Solace! I'm working on the game called Legion of Honor that is to be a spiritual successor of Medal of Honor on the PS1. I also work on other projects though, so keep on the lookout for progress snippets here! #godot #indie #solodev

Excuse me Sprawl, I wasn't familiar with your game 🥺 Might not be as flashy as Zero, but when it works, it fucking WORKS. Absolute blast once the movement clicks with you because the more I've played it, the better it got.

Tugging on the heartstrings with the music but I've finally added two extra aiming modes! You can now drag the camera by pushing the crosshair against the screen edge, or have it continuously pull the camera along Wiimote style! #GodotEngine #LegionofHonorGame #WWII #indie #psx

Quick update! Made it so enemies are spawned using slots, they also drop ammo, weapons, or healing items (or nothing if you're EVIL). #LegionofHonorGame #retro #PSX #indiedev #solodev #GodotEngine

This is the fifth time I've beaten the Agent 64 demo this week, and I quite literally cannot get enough of it. Replicant D6 absolutely nailed the feel of classic N64 shooters, with modern QoL stuff and the soundtrack Need the full game YESTERDAY, man 😭

After blood, sweat and (many) tears, Split-Screen multiplayer is 100% functional! Up to 4 players, with a dynamic HUD scale. This is a huge milestone and it made me refactor a lot of things for the better! #LegionofHonorGame #splitscreen #WWII #retro #indiedev #psx #multiplayer

What's that sound? Oh yeah it's the sound of freshly mowed grass! Finally made a system that uses Metadata assigned to materials in Blender to differentiate footstep sounds based on surface! #LegionofHonorGame #GodotEngine #indiedev #retro #PSX #WWII #indie #dev
